September 5 ~ Another $1500 in Cup Breeder Incentive Funds up for grabs at Delaware Park

Delaware Park's third and final incentive race. Congratulations to the following horses who each won $500 for their breeders. The first of three ARC incentive races at Delaware Park was for purebred Arabian Fillies and Mares which had not won 2 races, or who were entered for a claiming price of $15,000. July 29 ~ Our second race in 2016 awarding Cup Breeder Incentive Funds was held at the Santa Rosa racetrack at Sonoma County Fairgrounds, California

Our 2nd race in the ARC CUP BREEDERS INCENTIVE AWARDS program went off today with a 7 horse competitive field. It was for 3 year olds and up who had not yet won 4 races, or optionally any horse who would run for a claiming price of $5000. No claiming horses entered, and the 6 furlong race was won in a speedy 1:19.54. Winning today was Raineing Sand (Grey Horse, by BURNING SAND out of PS STINAS SAGE, by Kezoram+. Foaled April 29, 2011 in Tennessee), bred by Felix Payne, owned by Warren Shelley, and trained by Helen Shelley. 2nd was Zells Bells (Bay Gelding by S W ZELL out of BONITA LORENA, by Wiking. Foaled February 16, 2009 in Texas), bred by Jane Teutsch, owned and trained by Robert Irando; and finishing 3rd was Jess Is On Fire (Grey Gelding by VAZS BURNING DESTINY out of BANDERS NAOMI KU, by Bandera KA.
